Twisted Sista Edge gel: Demo Review

This Twisted Sista Sleek Edge Gel, is a product i have used before, but did not give you a full review of. 

I recently won this product in a giveaway on the Instagram page and so gave it another try again.  

First off, as i mentioned before in a previous impressions post, this edge gel smells amazing. It smells like sweets! I love the smell of this brands products and i always find that i sniff it more than is probably normal. 

Texture wise, this is more of a wax compared to other edge gels that i have used. This was a nice feeling as it didn't feel sticky and take time to dry, but at the same time, we need sticky in an edge gel. 

Thankfully, it also left my with no flakes at all which i love about it. So many edge gels leave off white flakes, but this didn't. 

The only downside i found to this edge gel was that it didn't keep my edges down enough. As it's lock down, there was no issue as i was inside all day so they stayed. However, i don't think that this edge gel is strong enough to withstand any type of weather from hot to windy, which is a shame. 

If you want a soft gel that will help sleek hair down at the front, i think it will work alright for fly-aways, but for styling baby hairs, i just don't think it is strong enough. I did love the smell and the fact it was so smooth and easy to glide with making shaping my baby hairs easier.
