Treasure Tress | My first box

So after months of being jealous of the great treats that Naomi and Danielle were getting every month, i finally signed up to treasure tress box.

 

Whats that?

Treasure Tress is a monthly box subscription which is for natural hair lovers. It started in 2015 as the UKs first subscription box catering for young girls with natural curly, kinky, coily, frizzy hair. Each box features 5 products.

How does it work?

Once you click onto the website you can sign up really easily.

The idea is that you get a "treasure chest" of products. The company love to see peoples unboxing videos and often share them on their page as well, so make sure to follow them on instagram here.

How much does it cost? 

The box costs just £20pm + PP. When you think about how much we spend on hair products, this is really cheap. I don't know about you, but i for one am guilty of being a product junkie, buying into hypes, and spending more than that on just one product. So to know that i am going to be getting 5 for that price, was a huge win.

The website has 3 different boxes that you can buy, depending on age range. First off there is the Mini-me box. This is so cute. This box is designed for our little ones hair and has an age recommendation of 2-9 years old. This will include products which are aimed at children and no doubt others that are gentler on hair and so will be safe to use on them. 

Next there is the Tween box. The age recommendation on this one is 10-18 years. Again i guess this one will contain gentler products and is designed to appeal to teenagers. 

Finally we have the Qween box. This is the one for us adults, and is the box i chose to get.

What did you get in your box?

This months box had a theme of carnival, and featured products by a brand called GroHealthy. I haven't used any of their products before, but i have seen them a lot on instagram lately and they are from the same company who made soft'n'free. That was the only thing i every put in my hair growing up so i have high hopes for this brand. 

I got 5 full sized products in this box, which is better than some boxes i have seen where you only get sample sizes. I am one of those people who has to try something a few times before i can make my mind up, or i go back to products weeks later if i haven't liked them first try.

- Shampoo
- Curling Custard
- Oil
